Thaleia appears as if she has multiple personalties, though she does prefer to be happy most of the time. She finds most of her peace when in the forest surrounded by trees, believing that it is like her real home, having spent a lot of her time there as a pup. Around young wolves and close packmates, she is playful and carefree, finding some fun in a bit of light teasing. If just meeting another wolf, she is much more serious and curt. She's not afraid to speak her mind or put a wolf in their place if they step one paw out of line.
Still, there are topics she would rather not take part in, and areas in which she can be bitter, though should not be taken personally in most cases.

Thaleia was born on an unfortunate night. It was a frigid and eerily quiet winter; the only sound was that of a mother laying in her den struggling to keep her newborn pups warm. The snow-covered ground did nothing to keep the warmth within the burrow, and as much as the young she-wolf huddled with her whelps, they were all as still and cold as the night itself. Iris was overcome with grief, her white-furred body curled around the lifeless bodies as if she could somehow wake herself from the nightmare. Shivering, numb, and unable to rouse her limbs until morning, she woke prepared to bury her lost offspring outside. It was before she started rising that she noticed one of the five pups was clinging to her belly, a small puff of pale gray fur that held on to her mother for dear life, which, of course, she was. Hope sparking inside her chest, Iris waited until the little fae fell asleep before bring the others outside to be buried, then hurried back with her only pup, determined to keep her dangerously small daughter from slipping away into the unknown with the rest of her siblings. Days would pass before the mother could think of a name for her whelp, then it was a sunny afternoon when the title popped into her head.
It was then that the gray and white she-wolf would forever be known as Thaleia Amaryllis.
Growing up, Thaleia had always enjoyed the forest. It was just the way it was around her; the sight, the smell, and the feel. Spending hours at a time stalking through the foliage with nothing to hide her but the concealment of trees concerned her mother. Of course Iris would be protective of her only daughter, but she did allow a bit of freedom for the she-wolf. The fae had grown into a long-legged twig, making her a fast runner, which did offer some reassurance. Thaleia was full of enthusiasm and joy. As a young wolf, she should be. She was self-taught, finding ways to be so silent, no animal would hear her coming, no leaf would rustle, making up for her lack of a subtle pelt. As her mother got older, she got stronger and more confident, and took to caring for her, despite Iris's protests. Iris was not old; only four or so, but Leia wanted to help, using any excuse to get out of the den. The night was always her favourite time of day, until the night she was out and heard the violent snarls coming from the distance of her and her mother's den.
How long had she been gone? Thaleia was unsure. She just had to get back to the burrow as fast as her lithe body would take her. The growls had gotten louder with each paw step, the smell of blood hitting her like the wind of a mid-winter's evening. Her own blood pounded in her ears, unable to hear anything but the gunshot and her mother's cries of pain. Leia didn't even know how late she was when the first thing she saw was Iris on the ground, screaming at her to run, to get far away. Thaleia could only feel her own fear paralyze her as she watched the hunters emerge from the shadows, ready for the killing blow, one she knew she was going to feel if her legs didn't obey her. She could never remember anything past that, just her own howl, telling Iris how much she loved her, and the silence that, so deep, deafened her after she sprinted away.
A year passing, Thaleia could never bring herself do any more than hunt and sleep, like the emptiness she felt was dragging her down into the earth. Only when summer hit, did she get the idea that she wanted to enjoy the nice day outside and feel the sun on her fur again. The first minute she was basking outside the burrow; the next she was running with the idea that she could go on forever. She had missed the adrenaline, the touch of soil under her paws, the sounds of birds chirping and squirrels scuffling for acorns. For a year she had avoided this, and for that time she had forgotten why.
Traveling on, Leia was crouched with her eye on a wounded fawn. Little did she know, so was someone else. Lunging for the creature, she was met in the air by another large form; a male with a gray, black, and red pelt. They collided, causing them both to fall into the mud, losing both their footing and their meal. Furious, the female turned on the brute, growling at him for causing her to lose the prey. Eventually finding it pointless, she stalked off to the nearest water source to clean herself off to find the male had followed her. Annoyed, she ignored him, climbing out of the freezing liquid. Within the hour, she figured out that she wouldn't rid herself of the wolf she now knew as Kirrin, and the two had grown as close friends, then even more than that after a while. Together they found the pack known as Vasendiu, led by the alphas Nyxia and Ezrae. Almost instantly she knew this is where she wanted to stay, and stayed she did, over time gaining the rank of the Elite Hunter.
In the coming winter, she had grown round with pups alongside Nyxia and her sister, also known as the beta, Savika. It was late December when she gave birth to two stillborn whelps, earning her the loss her mother had once felt as well as sympathy. Shortly after, due to the lack of company that came from her mate, she yelled at him, ending their mate-ship with a quiet good-bye.
In the weeks to come, both Nyxia and Ezrae disappeared from the face of the earth, meaning she was the chosen one to take care of the mother's abandoned pups. It was Savika who was next to leave, chasing down her sibling in hopes to find her. Nyxia's three of four pups followed after, leaving only Amura in her care. Thaleia used that chance to be the mother she had lost the ability to be, and to be the mother that -her- mother was. She was determined to care for the pup and her pack, regaining the joy she had lost long ago when the broken Vasendiu family moved from the island and became Aeria Gloris.
