ClearingThe clearing is a wide grassy area in which the pack will spend the majority of their time socializing or just hanging around. Some wolves may even make their dens in this location. It is enclosed by trees to give it a cozy feeling. Sunning Rocks On lazy summer days, wolves can spend the warm afternoon basking in the sun on moss-covered rocks. This area is tucked away into the trees a short distance from the clearing, and is also a good spot to view the hills nearby. At the edge of the clearing are the boulders that are mainly used for the alpha(s) and beta(s) to stand on when addressing the rest of the pack during meetings. The smallest stone is much too large for the average pup to attempt to climb, as much as they'd like to try.
